Higher Education & Career Options
This subject lays the foundations for further study of Accounting, Business Studies, Finance and Banking. Many higher education establishments and employers look for a range of A Levels and this A Level adds a numerate subject to student qualifications if they have not chosen to study Mathematics as an AS or A Level.
Due to the Government priority of increasing the number of people requiring education through the Apprenticeship programme, A Level Accounting is a great first step in gaining acceptance into a top Accounting firm offering an Apprenticeship such as KPMG. This often leads to a professional qualification – Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA)
