Year 7 Admissions

Everything you need to know about your Year 7 Entry: September 2025

Applications for Year 7 entry (September 2025) closing date is: 8th November 2024. Please submit the registration form, in full and submit it along with the supporting documentation as detailed on the form (see checklist box) and pay the £100 registration fee. Sample Papers

Sample papers for Maths, and information on the English creative writing paper and the online computer test will be available to all registered candidates.

Scholarships

Creative Arts, Music and Sports Scholarships

Please complete the relevant part of the registration form if you wish your child to be considered for a Creative Arts, Music or Sports Scholarship. Please note that applications for sports scholarships  without references will not be considered.

Academic Scholarships

Candidates who perform particularly well in the Entrance Examination will be considered for an  academic scholarship and will be invited to meet with the Head of English or Maths for an assessment interview. 

Bursaries

A limited number of bursaries are available for pupils starting in Year 7. Bursary application forms to be requested by 8th November 2024.  The deadline to complete the forms and return them for a means-tested bursary is 1st December.  Applicants for bursarial support should indicate their interest on the registration form.

Interviews

Parent and Pupil interviews will take place with a member of the Senior Management Team during October, November and early December. Your child will be asked to bring something with them that they are particularly proud of e.g. a recent prize or award, or a piece of writing or artwork. 

Offer Letters

Offer letters and confirmation of Scholarship Awards will be sent by post on 11th January 2025.

Offers of a place must be accepted no later than 4th March 2025.
